Frequently asked questions
Is the DESS configurator free?
Yes. Calculate system values, copy supplier formulas and download a PDF without an account. You enter the values into Victron VRM yourself.
What does Solum Service Basis update automatically?
With a connected VRM installation and active tariff management, approved supplier and energy tax changes are applied to the DESS price settings that match your contract. You can turn tariff management on or off in your account.
Who can use Solum Service Basis?
It is available for installations purchased through a company affiliated with Solum Energy or sourcing products from us. Ask your installer. Offgridcentrum.nl is affiliated.
How much does Solum Service Basis cost?
€10 a month or €99 a year, including VAT. Your subscription renews automatically for the selected period. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your current period remains available.
Can I get an annual inspection at home too?
Yes, with Solum Service Extended. It includes all monitoring and DESS service from Basis plus an annual service visit. See the service plans for a comparison.
